Week of Jan.26-31

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalm 23 (KJV)

Hi Sisters,
I hope everyone had a great week. I know my latter part of the week was a bit of a struggle for me as I was feeling a little tension and bitterness. I hope that you will pray for me that I can just keep calm in the midst of the small storms that come in and out of my life. I know as the scripture above says He will leadeth me beside still waters and restoreth my soul even when evil tries knocking at my door.
I love you all and keep praying for our sisters.

  1. I would like to lift up our sister Janel Webster and her mother as this is going to be a very difficult week for them after the passing of her step father. I pray that God will give Janel the strength she needs to find her own comfort, but also help comfort her mother and other family members. As most of us know Janel is a strong young woman, but she is also human and is going to hurt like the rest of us do. I pray that she will keep God in front of her as she speaks, prays, and offers guidance and as she heals from her loss.
    Thanks for praying.

  2. Hello Friends!

A couple of updates for you. My friend with MRSA and cancer is out of the hospital and beginning another round on the recovery road. I thank you for your prayers as she continues this trying time in her life. I keep believing God for a miracle. As we know all things work together for good, and God always has a plan. I pray His plan is complete healing of the cancer!
Also my husband is doing much better now. He will go to the Dr. on Thurs. and find out more details. I ask that you continue to pray for his health. He has not felt his best for months and has just chalked it up to being tired. God bless him and my friend with perfect health! Amen!
