Week of Jan.19-25

"If you remain in me and my words remain in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
John 15:7 (NIV)

Hello Sisters...
Wow, what a powerful scripture and it sounds so easy, doesn't it? Guess what... IT IS! By reading our Bibles and praying everyday we are keeping our Father's words alive in us, and by speaking with our tongue and believing with our hearts, then our prayers WILL be answered. God has given us so much and we all have so much to be thankful for, go out and share it! Love you all.
Happy Blogging!

  1. I thought I would share a little bit about what was happening in my home this week...
Last night I went to dance practice with my daughter and April Grubb from our church and when we got back to my house, My husband and her husband Jason were on their way out the door. I asked him where he was going, and he said, "I am going to do some work. I heard that there was homeless people that have been sleeping behind WalMart, and I need to go buy them blankets and make sure they are warm before we go to bed tonight." I was very supportive as I knew God had laid this on his heart. After buying 5 blankets and a pkg. of socks for them, he found that it was too cold and they ended up relocating to a local church. My husband and Jason tracked the men down and went in with blankets, socks, smiles, and testimony!
When he got home, we went to bed and he said, "I just couldn't crawl into bed tonight knowing that they might be out there in the freezing cold." I told him I couldn't be more prouder of him and God too was proud. We laid in bed, sobbing and praying, and just letting Jesus know how thankful we are to know him and that he lays these things on our hearts. He has given us the power to hear his requests and we are being obedient to his work. Not only did my husband (Jim) and Jason touch these guys by going out at 10:00 at night to bring them warmth, they touched me, Jason's wife, my kids, and hopefully everyone else that reads this story. Doing work for God is a ripple affect. It affects everyone that surrounds it. We are going to keep growing in the Lord. Please share your stories as you go through your week to inspire others to do their work for the Lord also.

  2. It is about 1:00 a.m. and I am just getting in from taking my husband (Daryl)in to the ER. He was having trouble getting enough breath this afternoon and had alot of pressure he felt in his chest. He was also getting lightheaded and very clamy. As of now he is doing better. They started him on a nitro drip and all the other precations. He is staying for observation and more tests that they will do tomorrow. Please if you read this today, be praying for his health. I know what the Lord is capable of. Thank-you and I will fill you in later. I've got to get some shut eye but wanted to get this on the prayer request.
